BATON ROUGE -- Southern University's Albert Turner was named week 11, SWAC Specialist of the Week, for his play agisnt Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Turner (5-7, 165, Jr, KR/WR, Baton Rouge, LA), had two kickoff returns for 97 yards including a career-high 84 yarder while tallying four catches for 95 yards and one score. This marks the second time this season a Southern player has won SWAC Player of the Week honors. QB, JC Lewis won Offensive Player of the Week honors in week 10.
